Ballast development

One focus in the Lighting and Plasma Technologies Group is the development of ballasts for a wide range of lamp technologies and LEDs. This involves electronic ballasts from the kilohertz to the GHz range. In some cases the fields of high voltage technology and high frequency technology are merged in order to realize a novel and optimal ballast for this purpose.
